As well as the competitive element of the Summer Trial, there is a tour section for those who wish to join in the excitement and social side of the event. This is purely a tour, your vehicle needs no special preparation to take part.
The Summer Trial is the perfect way to start your adventure into historic rallying! The event is aimed at those new to rallying, it can also be used as a great way to shake down your car for longer events or introduce your partner or a family member to the sport. The format of the event is designed so less impact is placed on your work commitments, a prologue takes part on Friday afternoon, this is generally straightforward and eases you into the Summer Trial. Saturday is a full day`s rallying, Sunday, as a rule, generally finishes in the early afternoon, a prize giving and buffet lunch then allows you to be back at work on the Monday.
Navigation is by straight forward tulip diagrams, the regularity sections are presented in `Jogularity` style which is easily mastered. The driving tests are held on private land, and will allow you to enjoy your vehicle at it`s best!HERO Colour Coding, Introductory
