THREE FINALS ON ONE NIGHT & A FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR Saturday 7 November heralds the end of the BriSCA F1 Stock Car racing season at Coventry Stadium; with it comes the annual BSCDA Trust Fund Race for Stars, Superstars and any A grade driver (blue roof) who has achieved star status during the season to make up a worthwhile grid. The BSCDA Trust Fund is a registered charity created primarily to help through financial hardship any driver injured while racing. During the evening, drivers will be walking among the crowd, collecting donations for this very worthwhile cause, which last year raised in excess of £1,000 from the generous Coventry supporters. November`s meeting follows the traditional Coventry format of three heats, consolation, final and grand national. The Trust Fund race comes as heat three, although the prize schedule for this race pays the same as the meeting final. At the end of the meeting on Saturday, promoter Avtar Sandhu is staging an extra race for drivers who have won a race at Brandon during the 2009 season, including any driver who wins on the 7th but has not already qualified. This race pays an additional £1,000, split between £500 for first, £250 for second, £150 for third and £100 for fourth place. Consequently, fans can look forward to a meeting with the equivalent of three finals on one night, culminating in a Firework Spectacular. The racers` bonus is the promotor`s way of saying "thank you" to the drivers for their support throughout the year, while fans will be delighted to hear that there will be no increased admission charges for this meeting. Adults £16 / Concessions £12 / children 6-15 £5 / children under five Free. F1 start time is 7:00pm. - Ends - Stop Press: A late addition to the programme of events at Coventry on 7 November are the V8 Hot Stox, who had their booking at Scunthorpe Raceway suddenly cancelled. Thanks to Avtar Sandhu, an important fixture for the V8s, their Challenge Series Final and first World Championship Qualifier, will now be staged at Brandon, with three races slotted into the eight-race BriSCA F1 event.
